USB interface/programmer for setting or updating the firmware of S.BUS serv, gyroscopes, controllers and other compatible Futaba devices with the help of a PC with Windows operating system (Vista/7/8/8.1/10) and Link utility (free download) .
The CIU-3 is a USB interface for communication between Futaba devices supporting Link setup (such as Futaba's S.BUS/S.BUS2 servos, gyros and controllers) or firmware update via a Windows PC (Vista/7/8/8.1 /10). It has the form of a regular USB "key ring" with an LED indicator of the operating status.

After downloading and installing the Link utility (free to download on the Futaba website), the CIU-3 is connected to a free USB 2.0 port on the PC (depending on the version of the operating system, it may be necessary to install a USB driver). Powered by a USB port; the device being set up/updated is connected using a PC-Link cable adapter. The connected device uses either its own internal power supply (e.g. T6K transmitter), or e.g. from the receiver accumulator connected to the PC-Link adapter (S.BUS/S.BUS2 servo).

The utility provides comfortable setting or updating in a clear "Windows" style.
