XLPower Specter 700 Nitro KIT
The Specter 700 Nitro is a top-of-the-line 700-class internal combustion engine powered helicopter offering a number of unique solutions for easier operation, setup and high reliability. The heart of the helicopter is a sophisticated system of a double-mounted centrifugal clutch allowing precise installation of the engine without the need for special tools. Conical joints on the clutch shaft and disc smooth operation with minimal vibration.
Engine maintenance is also very simple thanks to the possibility of removing the engine from the bottom without the need to dismantle other parts of the model. The same applies to the fan cover, both halves of which can be removed without disassembling other parts.
The Specter 700 Nitro shares many parts with NME's electric Specter 700 V2, such as the 7075 aircraft duralumin rotor head and balance rotor system. Elegant black anodized rotor head with 1:1 cyclic to rotor head geometry facilitating adjustment and improving cyclic control, conical shaft and balancing rotor hub improving its symmetry and balance, improved positioning of the balancing rotor blade carriers, quick-clamp end of the yaw rod that does not require the use of glue, reinforced undercarriage - all these improvements led by the effort to increase performance and facilitate the operation and adjustment of the helicopter introduced in the electric Specter 700 V2 NME also have the Specter 700 Nitro.
The propulsion system offers top performance thanks to the incredible stiffness of the airframe; a robust system with a one-way bearing and a double-mounted clutch guarantees not only high performance, but also extended bearing life and overall more reliable engine operation.
