Futaba speed sensor - optical SBS-01RO
Telemetry optical speed sensor for Futaba RC kits with telemetry transmission systems FASSTest, and T-FHSS Air (for aircraft). It enables the measurement of propeller or rotor revolutions in the range of 360 to 300,000 rpm. Ideal for measuring the speed of aircraft propellers and helicopter rotors and similar applications. It works in daylight (it may not work properly in a room or in low light at night), the distance between the sensor and the propeller/rotor must be less than 150mm. The operating states of the sensor are indicated by the LED diode.
Compatible receivers: Futaba receivers with S.BUS2 port
Connection to the receiver: S.BUS2 socket.
Number of addresses required by the sensor: 1*
Default address number setting (start address): 2*
Transmitted telemetric data: number of revolutions (takes into account a two-bladed propeller/rotor, with a different number of blades, the appropriate settings must be made in the transmitter menu)
Typical installation: on the nose of the model aircraft just behind the propeller, on the tail spar of the helicopter in the range of the propeller, but outside the range of the stabilizer paddles.
Power supply 3.7-7.4V (nominal battery voltage).
The sensor set includes: SBS-01RO sensor with cables, sensor holder, double-sided adhesive tape, instructions.
*) Telemetry sensors are identified on the S.BUS2 serial bus using an address number ("slot"); more complex sensors transmitting more than one data may require several consecutive addresses - in which case the first address belonging to that sensor is called the starting address.
Power supply 3.5-8.4 V
Range of measured revolutions 360-300000 rpm
Length (with cables) 160 mm
Weight 4.9 g
