FrSky VANTAC RF007 is a high-end flybarless (FBL) unit that uses the latest Rotorflight 2.X technology. With a built-in Twin 2.4GHz R6 receiver, the RF007 provides a wide range of functions while allowing intuitive configuration, seamless setup and real-time tuning via ETHOS radio interface.
Rotorflight Technology and Comprehensive Capabilities
At the heart of the RF007 is the STM32F722 MCU processor, supported by a three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer and a barometer. Together, these components ensure accuracy and stability, giving pilots maximum confidence and trust in their machine. In addition, the controller supports flight data recording using a large 128MB black box, which offers users a wealth of data for debugging and troubleshooting.
Integrated FrSky receiver and external receiver support
The RF007 is equipped with a built-in FrSky R6 Twin 2.4 GHz receiver that pairs directly with KAVAN or FrSky transmitters, eliminating the need for an external receiver. The internal receiver is connected via a UART bus communicating on the FBUS protocol. For users with other requirements, the receiver can also be connected via the mainboard or one of the expansion ports. Rotorflight supports a wide range of receiver signal transmission protocols. For a full list of supported protocols, please see the Rotorflight Configurator tool or visit https://rotorflight.org.
ETHOS Lua Programming/Debugging on the Go
With telemetry connectivity, Rotorflight offers integrated and highly intuitive Lua-based configuration tools that you can run directly on ETHOS transmitters. With these tools, you can quickly and easily tune and change PID settings, trims, offsets, mixes/geometry, filter settings and most other Rotorflight parameters directly from the radio screen. Supported speed controllers can also be configured using the configuration tool.
